Aunt Molly's Ground Cherry
This outstanding variety originated in Poland and is prized for its flavour! Fruits are 1/2" to 3/4" in diameter and are encased in a paper husk that turns brown when the fruits ripen. Excellent citrus flavour, can be used for preserves, pies, over ice cream and in fresh fruit salads. Sprawling habit.
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Plant seedlings outdoors once all danger of frost has passed and soil has warmed. Deep, well drained soil is best.
